Acadia: woods, water, a wedding & WHAT?!?

An excellent 16 miles of trails, with one TERRIBLE human...

You know you have great friends when their wedding schedule allows time for you to take a 16-mile run through Acadia National Park.

No. That's not true.

You know you have great friends when you go to their wedding in historic Southwest Harbor and you say,

"Guys! I'm so stoked to have time for a 16 mile run before your ceremony! This is gonna be GREAT for my TOILET PAPER BLOG."

And they don't immediately dis-invite you!

That's friendship.

Anyway, ocean breezes and shady pine groves kept this run cool. 4 mountains, 2x each. and as I'm cruising along, I'm thinking to myself,

"Holy sh*t, self, these East-Coasters might be besting my CO brethren. This trail is effing PRISTINE!"

Then, I look down and see:

Maybe you missed it:

There it was. One. DISGUSTING. WAD OF TP.

Right in the flipping center of the trail.

It looked as though it'd been there some time.

Contrary to your belief, you terrible TP leaver: TP DOESN'T JUST VANISH THE MINUTE IT LEAVES YOUR HAND.

No, it gets rained on, solidifies into a jarring, white eye-sore, and ruins the landscape for all who pass.

So, thanks for nothing A**HOLE! This was going to be the first A+ trail until YOU came along!

My evaluation of Acadia National Park, Flying Mtn, Valley Peak, Acadia Mtn, and Sauveur Mtn trails: A

My evaluation of the one terrible TP leaver: F-

That's right asshat. I gave you an F MINUS. Because you're a RUINER OF BEAUTIFUL THINGS AND ALSO PERFECTION.
